I wanted to reach out to you because we are working with several public libraries to support their early literacy and parent engagement efforts with a mobile tool called ReadyRosie.
We help libraries reach and equip parents and caregivers with brief daily videos (in English and Spanish) that model everyday activities and interactions that help create homes filled with language and learning. These videos are sent directly to the parents via text message, email, or through our mobile app. Imagine supplementing and scaling your early literacy and parent engagement efforts with a digital resource that is delivered directly to your parents whether or not they come to you.
You can find out more about this unique resource and check out some of our demo videos on our website: https://readyrosie.com/
We are proud to be partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia to use ReadyRosie as part of their Read by 4th initiative. We’ve also recently launched with the DC Public Libraries in conjunction with their Books from Birth campaign. In Ohio, ReadyRosie is being used as supplement to Story Time and a Kindergarten Club in Cuyahoga County Public Library and as a part of the Stark County District Library StartSmart Early Literacy program.
I know how precious your time is, but I’d love to talk with you about this resource and how we can partner with your community to equip and inspire your parents. I’ll also be hosting a couple of webinars to walk through ReadyRosie and how it can enhance your library efforts – go here to sign up for one of them: https://readyrosie.com/webinar-signup/
Please let me know if you’d like to talk more.
