ReadyRosie is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the 2014 NAEYC Annual Conference and Expo in beautiful Dallas, Texas! We are working with the conference to provide a series of videos featuring interviews with conference presenters and attendees on the hottest topics in early childhood education.
Several people stopped by the ReadyRosie Video Station outside the main exhibit hall on Wednesday to share their thoughts on the importance of “talk and play.” We were honored to sit down with Wednesday’s keynote speaker, Dr. Kathy Hirsch-Pasek for a portion of this video.
We were honored to have so many experts come by on Wednesday and Thursday to talk about the importance of home language for early learners – Dr. Iliana Alanís from University of Texas San Anotonio, Kimberly Pearson-Cooke from School Readiness Consultants, Marisel Torres-Crespo from Hood College, and Audrey Juhasz, a Doctoral student from Utah State University.
The ReadyRosie video station was busy with NAEYC conference attendees and presenters wanting to pass along great insights into the crucial role of families in delivering on the promise of early learning.

Listen in for some great perspectives from NAEYC presenters and participants on how we can bring math to life in a way that is fun, interactive, and connected to everyday experiences.
Music deepens our learning as well as preserves and passes along our cultures. There is power in this art form to engage growing minds. How wonderful of NAEYC to include this topic as a key to the early childhood experience. Listen to some of this year’s NAEYC presenters and attendees share their thoughts.
Technology is all around us and its powers, promises, and challenges must be reflected upon for early childhood in the 21st century. Several of you came by our Video Station to discuss the role of technology in delivering on the promise of early learning.
